The Constitution

The Constitution provides the authority for the State to act on behalf of the Nation under the tripartite model.

The Legislative (Oireachtas) has the sole power to make laws.

The Executive (Government) has the responsibility to implement the laws and administer the nations resources prudently for the benefit of the Nation.

The Judiciary is tasked with independently administering Justice while upholding the Constitution and the laws.

The Oireachtas has unlawfully granted legislative power to the Executive to introduce legislation through ministerial Orders.
