Migration

Migration is inevitable in a connected world and can be beneficial to the host country when accessing skills which are in demand domestically. It does not benefit the host country if they have to support the migrant. All countries have a moral and sometimes legal duty to protect innocents from persecution and harm to the best of their ability.

The concerns of the Irish people are the safety of their families and children with the open border policies allowing undocumented and un-vetted economic migrants free access to their communities. The main stream narrative labels anyone having genuine concerns as being Far Right, Racist or Fascist to stifle debate and cause division.

UN EU Genocidal Policy

Genocide is the deliberate destruction of a race, tribe religion or society. The policies being implemented by government are causing skilled Irish nationals to emigrate while simultaneously encouraging unskilled foreign nationals to immigrate. It may not be as violent as the genocide by murder being perpetrated on the people of Gaza, but it is genocide.

It has been the policy of the United Nations and the European Union for many years to promote unlimited immigration as Peter Sutherland the former Fine Gael Attorney General and UN Special Representative of the Secretary General for International Migration stated; “The United States, or Australia and New Zealand, are migrant societies and therefore they accommodate more readily those from other backgrounds than we do ourselves, who still nurse a sense of our homogeneity and difference from others. And that’s precisely what the European Union, in my view, should be doing its best to undermine.” bbc.com/news/uk-politics-18519395

Dutch MEP Auke Zijlstra asked the EU Commission for clarification on Mr. Sutherland’s statement: www.europarl.europa.eu/doceo/document/E-7-2012-007854_EN.pdf and received the following response: www.europarl.europa.eu/doceo/document/E-7-2012-007854-ASW_EN.pdf

Mícheal Martins statement: “Let there be no doubt about where Ireland stands. We want nothing to do with a backward-looking idea of sovereignty. We remain absolutely committed to the ideals of the European Union.” demonstrates his adherence to these policies.

While the mainstream parties pretend that this immigration crisis is outside of their control it’s clear that this is their policy as demonstrated by Roderick O’Gorman’s tweet in February 2021 announcing in 8 languages that asylum seekers would get free housing and healthcare. gript.ie/ogorman-defends-asylum-tweets-in-different-languages/

I propose:

The Thornton Hall site be developed as a processing centre for undocumented arrivals while their identity is being verified and any alleged criminal history and their psychological condition is assessed before their release into Irish society is considered. Criminals and illegals should be immediately deported to their country of origin at the expense of that country. Getting on a plane with papers/passport and not having them on arrival in Ireland is a criminal offence.

Fast processing of legitimate applicants whose identity and history has been validated.

The right/obligation to work for genuine refugees to allow Ireland to benefit from their skills.

Incentives to Irish nationals abroad to return home.
